I got my Birchbox a weeks ago and just now got around to sharing it. I love the when March rolls around in the Birchbox world because that’s when the samples get really good. This month was no exception to the rule. The items I received were very nice and now that I have had adequate time to really test out the products I can give my honest review of what I got.
Keims Cleanshine Energizing Shampoo

I never thought that I’d like the combination of Peppermint and Macadamia in a hair product but this was very nice. I loved that it only took a minimal amount to get it to lather so I didn’t have to load up on the shampoo application. Once out the shower my hair felt really clean and the mint had a nice cooling after affect once out in the cool air of my bathroom. I give this product a 5 out of 5.
Gilchrist & Soames London Collection Body Lotion

This brand is supposedly “eco-friendly” plus as a bonus it high end. The packaging was too cute it had crest embossed on the lid. I personally am a sucker for packaging. It looks like a mini version of the original size. I read many reviews before it arrived and a few people were not happy about the fact that the mouth has a wide opening. In my humble opinion that is the very thing I loved about it I loved that if it get down to the bottom I can stick my finger right in there and get every last bit of it out. The scent is subtle but nice and it doesn’t scream perfumed. The texture was very pleasant doesn’t leave a greasy texture at all but it does seem to dry out on your hands fast. I give it a 5 out of five for packaging but a 4 for the actual lotion.

Yay!!! A full sized sample these types are my favorite. I love this eyeliner so much. It goes on smooth and creamy and it is really creamy. It feels very luxe in my humble opinion. I also like the fact that it’s organic which is a plus because I have sensitive eyes and I like to wear contacts. It so worth checking out. I received the color Green Lagoon in my box it is looking like a big contender in Spring lineup.
Jurlique Purely Bright Radiance Serum

It smells nice and goes on smooth and dries feeling really matte. It was strange to get used to at first but now I really like it I used it both day and night. There wasn’t enough in this sample to see a true difference only last about three days. Not sure at all if I would want to purchase for $58 without any guarantee.
Jurlique Purely Bright Cleanser

I did not enjoy this sample only had enough for one use and it didn’t wow me at all. Didn’t notice it doing anything my current cleanser doesn’t already do. Needed a bigger sample to really give it a realistic review. Better luck next time Birchbox.

This was the Birchbox find for this month so It was included as a bonus item. I one word YUM. I love dark chocolate so it was very pleasant.

That is a nice Birchbox! I love the Inka and Jurlique brands! I have sensitive eyes as well. I can’t wear loose eye pigments or do my water line. I gave up on contacts. I hear they are better now. Maybe I will try them again someday. At least glasses are “fashionable” for the moment. I wish they’d been fashionable 20 years ago!
